Amicus has developed this privacy policy to help you understand more about our privacy practices and how we collect, use and disclose information you may provide to us through your use of the Amicus website (the "Website"). By accessing the Website you agree to the following:

1. Definitions

"Non-Personal Information" means information which, by itself, does not identify a specific individual.

"Personal Information" means specific identifiable information about an individual person which could be used to identify, contact or locate that person (e.g. name, mailing address, email address or phone number).

"Information" means Non-Personal Information and Personal Information.

Information Provided by You. We may receive and store any Information that you provide by using the Website or when you otherwise interact with Amicus. We will use such Information to communicate with you and to improve the Website. For example, Amicus may use your Personal Information to send you emails periodically describing news or information about Amicus.

Information Collected Automatically. We may receive and store certain Non-Personal Information automatically through technological methods whenever you interact with the Website. For example:

(a) Cookies. The Website uses "cookies," which are small files that the Website places on your computer hard drive for identification purposes. These files are used for Website registration and customization the next time you access the Website. Your internet browser may notify you when your computer is receiving a cookie, giving you the choice to accept it. By not accepting cookies, some sections of the Website may not fully function and you may not be able to access certain information.

(b) Metadata. Metadata is data collected and used by us to better understand and manage data related to the Website and to facilitate and monitor Website usage. 3. How Information Is Used, Shared and Disclosed

Except if you consent to such disclosure, Amicus does not sell, rent, lease or disclose your Personal Information to third parties. We use Information to analyze and monitor system performance, improve the Website, and fulfill requests for additional information about Amicus. In addition, we may disclose your Information for the following reasons:

(a) Legal. We may disclose Information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, other facets of the legal process or to establish/exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We may share Information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the Amicus's Terms and Conditions of Use or as otherwise required by law.

(b) Business Transfers, Assignment. In the event we reorganize as a business entity, our assets are acquired, we acquire entities, subsidiaries, or business units, or enter into joint ventures with third parties, any Information you provide may be transferred to such parties but will remain subject to the Amicus Privacy Policy in effect at the time of such transfer. In addition, this Privacy Policy itself may be transferred to an entity acquiring Amicus.

(c) We may use third-party companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include hosting the Website, data storage, sending postal mail and email, analyzing data, and providing technical assistance. We will provide such entities with access to certain Information needed to perform their functions, but will take measures to ensure that they may not use it for other purposes. We share Information only as described above and with third parties that are either subject to this Privacy Policy or to a privacy policy that is at least as protective as this Privacy Policy.

4. Opting-Out

You may access, update or remove Personal Information, or opt-out of receiving emails from Amicus by accessing the User Control Panel (User CP) or contacting us if you have difficulty logging in. Once Amicus has processed your opt-out request, Amicus will not send you further emails unless you initiate contact with Amicus through the Website or otherwise.

5. Children

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from persons under the age of 13. If it comes to our attention that Personal Information has been collected from a person under the age of 13, we will delete this information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we may have Personal Information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us.

6. Security

Amicus and its partners and vendors take reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure of the Information we collect; this includes ensuring that all Personal Information is disclosed only on a "need to know" basis.

7. Transfer

Your information may be transferred and maintained on our hosting provider's infrastructure. If your information is transferred and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction, our Privacy Policy and its protection for you still applies there.

8. Conditions of Use, Disputes, and Changes to this Privacy Policy

By accessing and using the Website, you agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the use of your Information as described herein is subject to this Privacy Policy and Amicus's Terms and Conditions of Use. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy without notice at any time and your continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of such changes.
